The Concierge Memoir Package is a tailored, one-to-one partnership for writers seeking sustained support with a substantial memoir. Whether you have a complete draft, a partial manuscript, or a significant body of notes, we’ll agree on the coaching and editorial support that best fits your project.
The package starts at $15,000 AUD for a memoir of approximately 75,000 words. The final fee depends on your manuscript’s length and condition, the agreed scope of work, and the support required. After an initial conversation and assessment, you’ll receive a proposal setting out the inclusions, exclusions, timeline, and payment schedule.

The paid Discovery Session is a deeper project assessment with agreed next steps. A focused session to explore your memoir’s structure, manuscript stage, goals and next steps. Written notes are provided at the conclusion of this discovery session.

Concierge memoir package
The package may include:
Planning and coaching
- an initial consultation and assessment of your memoir project
- advice on scope, structure, audience and intended outcome
- development of a tailored memoir-writing and editing plan
- regular coaching sessions to maintain momentum and resolve writing challenges
Developmental editing
- guidance on shaping memories into scenes, chapters and a coherent narrative
- support with chronology, pacing, themes, voice and point of view
- developmental editing of the complete manuscript
Line and copy editing
- line editing to strengthen clarity, flow, tone and style
- copy editing for grammar, syntax, consistency and usage
Final preparation
- a final proofreading pass after agreed revisions
- guidance on chapter titles, front matter and manuscript presentation
- an edited manuscript prepared for the next publishing stage, not a completed book ready for sale
- written recommendations for the next stage of publication
- agreed progress check-ins throughout the project
Inclusions are selected and confirmed in the proposal. Not every item is automatically included in every project.
The work is collaborative. You remain the author and final decision-maker, while Clarity Content Studio provides the structure, editorial expertise and sustained support needed to bring your memoir to completion.

The starting price is based on a memoir of approximately 75,000 words and a defined scope of coaching and editing agreed in advance. Your final fee will depend on the manuscript’s length and current condition, the amount of coaching required, the editing services included, and the number of review and revision rounds.
After an initial discussion and assessment, you’ll receive a tailored proposal outlining the work, deliverables, timeline and fee. Any work beyond the agreed scope will be discussed and priced separately before it begins.

What is not included
- ghostwriting or writing substantial portions of the memoir for you
- independent research or fact-checking
- legal advice
- assessment of defamation, privacy or copyright risks
- professional design of a book cover
- typesetting or final production of print or e-book files
- publishing contracts or agent representation
- marketing, publicity or distribution services
Additional services may be discussed separately where appropriate. The author is responsible for the material they choose to publish and should seek legal advice where needed.
Terms
The proposal and agreement will set out the deposit, instalments, revision limits, cancellation terms, and ownership of deliverables.
